ad I chose

I decided that the ad that I will be utilizing is the animal one. It has a tiger on puppet strings with the caption “the show musn’t go on.” This image is an advertisement for animal-free circuses. I chose this ad for my essay because I am huge into animal rights, and this is something I’m very passionate about. I am almost certain that how passionate I am about this will affect my essay in a positive light. The ad is about how wild animals are not our puppets, especially at circuses. We must stop using animals for entertainment and in shows. Instead, we should switch to animal-free circuses. There are also a few elements that I will talk about that are being used regarding, framing, color, etc. Rhetorical appeals are also utilized in this ad-pathos being a huge one. The audience is possibly people who go to circuses, or it could really be anyone (depending where this ad is posted). Mainly it is aimed at people who attend circuses. The author is possibly animal rights activists. The argument is to stop abusing/using wild animals as our puppets and making them do whatever we want- specifically using them in circuses. They want people to switch to animal-free circuses.
