I chose an email about an orchestra jazz concert at Ball State.
The argument is to not miss the jazz at Lincoln Center orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The author is music@bsu.edu. It is people working with anything related to music/music centers at Ball State University. The audience is any student who goes to Ball State. This is junk mail that I, and other students received. It seems to be aimed at music lovers. It does have a bit of rhetorical exigency. It is possible to get people to go to the orchestra. They want us to “witness this powerhouse group comprised of 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today.” There were specific dates, times, and locations offered so people know all of the details and no way of missing where it is taking place at. Offering all of the information that is needed to know about the orchestra and talking highly about the players can influence people to go to the show. They use blue coloring for the link to the orchestra page to make it easy to find and stand out. This can make people more likely to click on it and read about it since all other lettering is black, and they want to know why/what is the bright blue link.
