Due to my family living scattered all around the country, a tradition of lighting a candle at the same time on Christmas Day takes place consistently each year. Even though its origin is short and simple, the meaning is so much deeper. Because my family cannot all be together on Christmas Day, our tradition has taught us togetherness, and has brought us all closer than ever before.
